Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to use the pawns and reference charts to play?
No, those are only used if you would like to increase the difficulty of the game.  The basic game can be played with only the money, cards, and stock certificates.
What do I do if I run out of money before the game is finished?
Simply copy the "Bank Record" sheet that is included in the "Meet the Merbs" activity book.  Each group can then deposit their money back to you and only have a paper record of their earnings.
What do I do if I run out of stocks before the game is finished?
Simply, have the students keep a paper record of all purchases using the form included in the "Meet the Merbs" manual.
How do I prevent a student from winning too quickly or too slowly?
As the teacher you control the speed of the game.  Simply increase the number of stocks needed to win or decrease the number based on your class needs.
I have a question that was not addressed, what do I do?
Simply email us at merb@precisionmath.com and one of our Merbs on staff will be happy to answer any questions that you have about your specific classroom.
